TANF Ready for Work
Residential Program
The TANF Ready for Work Residential Program is a ten bed facility that provides long-term services, support, and supervision for substance abusing women and their children. This program is also designed to remove substance abuse as a barrier to employment. The Program provides a therapeutic environment that focuses on the following: education on addictive disease, relapse prevention, parenting skills, reunification with children, self-help skills, social skills, coping mechanisms, vocational rehabilitation, educational needs, supportive employment, and how to make a positive transition back into the community. A plan of care is developed and updated throughout treatment and services are provided by substance abuse counselors, physicians, and nurses. This program is divided into a 3 phase system. After completion of Phase 2, clients are stepped down to an aftercare program.
