Respite CareRespite (temporary) care serves to enable families to take a break from their care-giving responsibilities. The program assist families of persons 3-years of age or older with a developmental disability. Families are free to choose their own provider, except for relatives, and can change providers as often as desired. Community RelationsPhoenix Center staff are members of three inter-agency councils (one for each county served). These memberships represent a coordinated effort of several county agencies designed to meet the needs of disabled citizens.
